So much for that whole, ‘only accept oils from things that are naturally oily like coconuts and olives’ and ‘avoid cheap oils like the plague.’ I’m sure the company’s founders have wonderful rationales for all this, but it seems rather to go against their own rules. I don’t know. Maybe it’s a packaging issue and they should explain it better on the label? Oh yeah, and they taste pretty gross. No almond flavor, no chocolate flavor, just chemical sweetness. I also think desertcart probably mishandles them (think letting them melt and resolidify multiple times), because the weird and unappetizing texture—rock hard lump sitting in a pool of oil—isn’t intentional. It taste good enough for a snack or if on low carb regimen it could be dessert! The only ingredient that I don’t like is “natural flavors” and I hope in the future Perfect Keto will leave it out.
