For this purpose your product is perfect and it stands on my counter plugged into a usb outlet. I have not tried creaming butter and sugar or other uses but I have other appliances for that function. I charged it initially when I got it and have used it 3 times so far and its holding the charge really well.It's adjustable which is great and sits on the counter between jobs. It also has 3 mixer heads to choose from depending on what you're making. All in all this is a fantastic hand mixer.
