I ordered an XL based on the sizing recommendation: the bottoms fit perfectly, but the top was WAY too large, bulky, and "gappy." I have a small chest (B), and I think this suit is built for a larger-topped person.IF you have a large top, go for this bikini! It's a great color (bright red/coral with navy blue), really solid material (lined, thick - I was impressed), and just a good-looking suit. I am a size 12, 5'6" and ordered XL. Bottoms fit my round rear pretty snug - could use a tad more room. Top fits, however I had to sew up the fabric part of the clasp to tighten the strap across my chest. My only complaint is wishing the shoulder straps could go longer - the adjusters in the back literally sit under your shoulder bone and dig in.
