## Description

Help your dog get in and out of your truck easily with the Heininger Automotive TwiStep. The TwiStep is an instant, multi-use step that attaches to the hitch receiver of your vehicle and stores under the bumper when not in use. It provides your pet with lower-impact, lower-stress access into and out of a vehicle. Repeated jumping into and out of a vehicle can aggravate or even cause serious conditions like arthritis, leg injuries, back sprains and other spinal damage. Additionally, lifting a large dog into a vehicle isn't easy. The TwiStep can help dogs of all ages get into a vehicle. Young dogs can avoid unnecessary stress on growing hips and elbows. Active dogs can appreciate a step up at the end of a long day of hiking, hunting and other outdoor activities. The TwiStep can also help older dogs, who may suffer from arthritis and who can no longer enter a vehicle on their own. This step easily swivels out from under the vehicle in a few seconds just when you need it - and it even tucks out of the way under the bumper when you don't. The TwiStep fits trucks with a 2" receiver hitch. Make sure to grab one of these to help out your furry best friend.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐ Poorly designed pins/latches
*by F***G on February 3, 2019*

When this was new, it worked pretty well. I did have to use a bolt to keep it from wobbling too much in my hitch receiver. However, after about 8 months, it's too sloppy to use. There is a small round pin at one joint, that fits into a hole that is a bit too large, creating some slop. At the other joint, there is a square-headed bolt that engages a matching hole in a soft steel plate. Imagine using a wrench on a square-headed bolt, that doesn't quite fit, over and over. As you might imagine, both the corners of the bolt, and the interior corners of the soft steel plate, get so rounded that the step moves from side-to-side a good 10 inches when my dogs step on it. They don't like that, and my older dog has fallen a couple times.
