I would contact the seller if you cant plug it in. Also make sure you're plugging it in the right place, it goes on the front of the bike near the bottom, not on the back of the tablet holder. We made that mistake. **Q: I am 5foot will I be able to reach the pedal** A: Yes **Q: Does the seat only slide - not lift up..?** A: Yes, it slides up but in so doing covers varying heights of people. The pedals on the drum rotate and it is therefore a compromise between 'seat' position and leg length. In my own family there is a large range of heights and leg length and all seem to find a a position suitable to themselves.
