However, the main drawback of the Zippo was its short length; it was of limited use to me as it was not long enough to reach many of the wicks I wanted to light, such as those in some Wolfard oil lamps I use. The length of the Wickman makes it ideal for almost any type of candle or oil lamp I want to light. Finally, the price on desertcart was very good. Compared to lighters costing 3 times as much or more, this lighter is definitely a good value. So,give the Wickman a try and don't be turned away by some of the negative reviews. Girlfriend has difficulty lighting the lighter. Personally I do not however. The flame is not large or strong. On full strength it is low. It does look nice and is pretty big. Has a good weight to it. It is not a torch lighter but just a regular flame.
