In the third picture you can see the crack underneath the blue vinyl. This was my first attempt to ever put on vinyl and I honestly believe it turned an old beat up trailer hitch cover into something a little nicer and the blue matches the Royal Ocean blue of my 2015 Silverado. I used a new utility knife and cut around the outside of the groove. I have a blue theme for my car and this specific shade of blue matches my license plate frame almost exactly. It came with three large sheets and I have one left over and a third of one (I cut little squares off for each emblem on my tires). The application itself wasn't too difficult. I purchased an exacto knife for this and was able to use it to cut the vinyl without any issues.
