I own one other Koh Koh dress with the same measurements but this one runs larger in the waist than the other. That may just be due to the style of this one, as it is knotted in the front, but I could have definitely gone down a size to have it slightly more form fitting. It came the next day, and fits great!I am just under 5’ 3” and am VERY small boned/petite, as well as pear shaped. Due to recent job and life changes I’ve gained a little weight and this hides my “mini muffin top” as well as “thigh pooches”. I wear a size 6 ish. (More 4 on top, more 6 on bottom if the fit is curvy. I’m in between sizes at the moment, as well.)It is difficult to find dresses that fit me well in stores, much less on line, so I am VERY pleased. When I put it on my husband said: “Wow! You look like a super model!”The only cons:1) The dress is two to three inches too long for me (again, I am not quite 5’ 3” so it would probably fit a taller person well.)2) I ordered the XS and the S and they were the exact same fit on me. The S might have been a little stretchier but that was the only difference. I kept the small as it was the less wrinkly of the two.All in all I am very pleased. The maroon is absolutely gorgeous in person. Rich color, thick, high quality fabric, very well made. The fabric is stretchy and after a bit of hanging up the wrinkles are smoothing out w/o ironing or steaming. Absolutely stunning dress!
