I handle a lot of wood since it's my primary heat source, and I cut, split and haul it all. These buffalo grain gloves are holding up extremely well, no evidence of abrasion. They are also very comfortable and flexible and remain so even if they get wet from snow. I am sold on buffalo grain. The only downside is that they are not all that warm. They are Thinsulate lined but can't find the rating anywhere and think it's pretty low.
