SmartDriveDuo60 has brushless fan attached on the top cover for cooling purpose.The operation modes is configure by the DIP switch on MDDS60. With the on board temperature sensor, this smart driver is able to limit the output current stage by stage preventing itself from overheat and burnt! The peak current is 100A for 1 second and it will automatically limit the output current. Had it running in less than 5 minutes out of the box. So far it's exceeded my expectations by far. Don't even look at any other drivers, they will disappoint you, but this one will amaze you!!! ### ā­ No support, both units defective *by S***F on August 27, 2023* I purchased two units and both units left channel couldn't drive the DC motor, where the right channels worked properly. Both motors are identical and way under the ratings. Tried to contact the vendor and they said that they would contact me within 48hrs and that was five days ago. I wasn't looking for a refund just replacements. So I am stuck with two units that are useless and spent $400.
