I put them in a quad fish though, which potentially changes things as the fin box is further up, letting your back foot get behind the fins further than a standard twin fin.... But they hold when they need to almost every time, yet still slide out when you push it. Opened the door to twin fins for me, and started the layback learning curve. I know you can't see the fins in the picture, but that's what was used in the board. Unfortunately the epoxy fish that I surf isn't made that way and the fins both ripped the boxes straight out of the glassing.
