I'd grown used to using 2-3 pillows (something flat, something fluffy, something overly lofty)...shifting them as I tossed and turned from stomach to side to back, flipping them over to the cooler side when things overheated. When I read the reviews of this pillow, I decided to give it a try, and wow! I am so happy. The pillow somehow is fluffy but firm at the same time. Best of all, when I sleep on my stomach, the pillow doesn't rise up to envelop my face (there is some sort of internal structure that keeps the shape out to the edges). I'm not waking up at night because my face is too hot, or because the pillow didn't need to be switched out when I turned to my side.I've used this pillow for one month now, and it is still fresh and holding its shape. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but as something that is going to last a while, that replaces 3 pillows on my bed, and that helps me sleep well without a stiff neck....definitely worth it! To be honest it took some getting used to due to the fullness. In fairness, I'm a back sleeper due to my CPAP and I've gotten use to pillows that give me an inch or so of cushion. Now my head is up higher, which was odd to say the least. Over time I've found that I do sleep better in this raised position. The pillow is a perfect fit for side sleepers out of the box. The times I lay on my side to read is very comfortable. The springs in this pillow are no joke, this isn't a pillow that you bring to a pillow fight unless you dislike your competition. It's the heaviest pillow I've ever owned, but that being said, it feels like the best quality pillow too. I was shocked at how flat the pillow was when I received it (I'm used to bigger, denser pillows). I opened it up & it fluffed out a bit. Still skeptical. Went to bed that night & didn't love it. It was different & uncomfortable. The next night or two was the same. However, after a few nights of use I started to love this pillow. Now, after a few weeks of use, I LOVE it!! It is light, fluffy, firm, comfortable in all sleeping positions & easy to squish & form however I like for that sleeping position. It fluffs back to its original shape & stays light & fluffy with great support too. I do highly recommend this pillow.
