## Overview

The GlassOuse V1.4 is a revolutionary wireless Bluetooth wearable mouse designed for hands-free pointer control via subtle head movements. Featuring 10X longer battery life, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, and enhanced sensitivity, it supports multiple devices including PCs, smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs. Ideal for gamers, professionals with mobility challenges, and anyone seeking ergonomic alternatives, it offers customizable click options through dwell software or G-SWITCH accessories, all housed in a sleek, durable frame.

## Description

As the very first example of its kind, GlassOuse is a special mouse created alternatively for those who have trouble or do not want to use their gadgets with any other input devices. As a Bluetooth mouse featuring a built-in motion sensor, GlassOuse was designed to control the pointer with slight head movements with maximum precision and speed while allowing the user to click by dwell software, our G-Series of switches, or any switch with a 3.5mm plug!

Review: Good for carpal tunnel, tendonitis, wrist injuries - I've only had this head mouse for about a week but wanted to write a review since I was on the fence about it for a long time, and hope this helps anyone in my position. I've had pretty bad tendonitis / carpal tunnel syndrome for about a year and have tried multiple ergonomic mice but they all start to hurt in some way or other. Finally bit the bullet to buy this head mouse and it has helped tremendously. Pros: - Connects via bluetooth and works out of the box - Is quite responsive and intuitive. Has a "sticky" feature on the cursor so that it's easy to hover over something to click on it - Long lasting battery life. It will go to sleep if you set it down but will wake back up pretty quickly Cons--this list is going to seem long but these are just things I wish could be improved, and doesn't really deter me from using this mouse. - The actual glasses are really small. I think I have an average-sized head but these are super tight on my temples. I have to take the glasses off when I for sure won't be needing the mouse, like right now as I'm typing, otherwise it is exhausting and will cause a headache. - You need other hardware to click. Luckily I already have a foot pedal which I programmed as the left click. I plan to get another to scroll and right click. I was already using foot pedals for other keys due to my wrist injuries so I'm used to this, but as other people have commented, it is kind of ridiculous to have to buy so many extra accessories for a $600+ mouse. I know you can also buy the Dwell software but I haven't tried it. The GlassOuse website has other accessories you can purchase. - Every time you restart your computer, you have to remove the device from your bluetooth connection, then re-connect it. I've tried everything but there's no way to avoid it. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong. This is the foot pedal that I have that works well with this https://www.desertcart.com/gp/product/B07Z1VDLK1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1 If you are on the fence about this, there is a similar software called SmyleMouse, which works the same with no physical hardware needed. It tracks your face movements and that is how you move the cursor, and all you have to do is smile to click. I had my doubts but it was quite intuitive, so I recommend that first to see if you like it. The license is slightly less expensive than this head mouse. They have a free 2-week trial that I recommend to see if a head mouse works for you. Unfortunately the software would not download on my work computer, and my company is quite strict, so I decided to buy the GlassOuse instead since it is pretty plug-and-play and requires no other software. I'm not paid for either of these devices but I've struggled so hard to find a solution to continue working despite my injuries, so wanted to write this in case it helps anyone else. Good luck out there everyone! Update one month later: Somehow the Bluetooth connection re-connects now upon waking up, but is still problematic when switching devices. I don't do this often, but you'd have to remove it from your Bluetooth devices and reconnect it. The battery always says it is at 100% but it is obviously not, and doesn't last "months" like the manual suggests, more like 1-2 weeks, which is still impressive. Someone asked if this was pretty accurate, and I'd say yes. I do graphic design so this helps a lot with limiting my hand usage. I doubt you can illustrate with it but minimal design work is possible. Disclaimer that I don't have any other physical ailments other than my wrist injuries and have full use of my neck though.
Review: Great but way too small to fit on my head - I am quadriplegic and use this product constantly. it is great. my one complaint and I'm posting this in hopes they will fix it in later releases, is that the glasses frame they use is sized for a 10-year-old, doesn't fit around my head. I pretty much have to break it and tape it up and tie around the back of my head.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do I reconnect device to laptop as it stopped working after using it for 1 day? I tried pressing connect button and resetting it multiple times st**
A: I recommend unpairing & repairing your GlassOuse V1.3 device from your Laptop by performing the following:
•	Do a search in Windows for “Bluetooth and other devices”
•	Under Mouse Keyboard and Pen section, locate “GlassOuse” and click on it.
•	Then choose the option to remove it. Once removed, proceed to the next step.
•	From the same “Bluetooth and other devices” screen on your laptop, click the “Add Bluetooth or other devices” > then select Bluetooth.
•	Press and hold the “Connect” button on the GlassOuse. The LED light will blink.
•	Find and link to “GlassOuse V1.3” on your laptop’s Bluetooth scan screen (Add a device) and click on it to complete the new pairing.

**Q: where can I buy another bite switch? Mine has stopped working.**
A: You can call 615.562.0043

**Q: is it accurate like a regular mouse can be ?**
A: Most would say so especially if you cannot readily access a regular mpuse. It has mostly to do with the acuity of your head movement than the design of the technology.

**Q: what devices does it work with?**
A: Wow! We have tested it with almost every bluetooth device you can think of; smartphones, tablets, smart TV, desktops, etc. It works all that we have tested them with.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works better than I had hoped.
*by R***R on September 13, 2018*

I suffer from ALS have lost the use of my hands and arms and could no longer use the mouse on my computer. I researched all the products out there and was most impressed by Glassouse's wearable mouse. They rest on top of your regular glasses and your head movements move the cursor on the screen. I bought the bite click attachment and together they have worked as advertised. I am once again fully functional on my computer and wholeheartedly recommend Glassouse.
