As some have complained about these jeans, the zipper is very rough and doesn't slide easily. Poor quality there. The left front pocket was not completely sewed at the bottom leaving a small hole (my wife will have to repair them). I know that there's no standard for slim fit sizes (or any sizing for that matter once you get by the waist and inseam sizes), but these jeans are snug in the legs and there's no way they will fit over western boots, so the jeans go inside your boots. They are lower cut so the waist band is below the navel. They are comfortable to wear. I have never liked flannel lined jeans, but my son introduced me to fleece lined pants with a Christmas present of Wrangler fleece lined cargo pants. I liked them so I thought I'd try these jeans. The Wrangler Cargo Pants are warmer, probably because the legs fit looser and allow some warm air to stay in there and act as insulation. If this review seems like a knock on these jeans, I really don't mean it to be. I like them, but feel that the quality control isn't where it should be and I would prefer these to be slim fit boot cut jeans. The rear pockets are not really deep and just barely hold a wallet, but not as secure as I would like.
