Not my first choice for "real use" though. *by K***D on Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2021* This is a cheap knockoff CAT-style tourniquet. The windlass is solid enough, where the windlass on a real CAT is extremely sturdy. I got this in blue for practice and in that role it's absolutely perfect. (You should avoid practicing with your "real" tourniquet if you can, as you don't want to put wear and tear on a lifesaving device. Better safe than sorry). The velcro length adjustment works just fine, and the cross-strap that you write the time on took a magic marker fine too.If there were an actual emergency and my choice was between this and improvising a tourniquet out of a bandana or something, I would absolutely use this device, no question.
