I was pleased with the size and layout, which are similar to the planners I've used in the past. It even has room for notes on the side of the page, which is a nice bonus. The cover is a sturdier plastic material, and my only (very minor) complaint is that it is a little too rigid for my preference. But it is certainly sturdy and will hold up well to my heavy use and being banged around in my laptop bag. The paper it is made with is heavier than most other planners I've seen, and when using marker on it there is no bleed through onto the next page. However, I did find the overall layout of the planner a bit strange because all of the monthly layouts are together in the front instead of each one being before its corresponding weekly layouts.
