Even with their small size, they are quite strong! I love that they come with a great little storage tin. The balls came in a little canister like you would find a vigil candle in with no packing in the box so it was loose rattling around in the box. I guess I didn't think about what size 5 mm is but these are the size of BBs! You would need several sets to do what is demonstrated in the video. They are so tiny, you could not handle them to build anything. My grandson wanted these for Christmas but I can't imagine why!
