They're very lightweight, but are easy to pick up thanks to the double wall design. Unfortunately, as is the nature of these types of glasses, they can be fragile and easy to slip out of hand and break even from a short distance. Despite slight injury as happens with broken glass, the pieces remained relatively large and easy to clean up.
