It's very economical and nicely designed. The lamp looks very high-end placed nicely almost anywhere in my room. Folded up the lamp takes up as much space as a chocolate bar so it's very portable. Extended, the lamp is still compact yet airy and has a nice height to it. The cordless feature is perfect for me because I don't have a lot of electrical sockets in my room so now I can have light where I want it without having to use extension cords. I was surprised at how bright it actually is. I know that it is an LED lamp but I wish the light temperature was a little warmer. I ordered the gold color but it turned out to be more of a copper color which I love even more by the way! The inconveniently placed port into which the USB charger must be placed (strangely located at the top of the lamp, not the base, making it VERY visible and in-the-way) just straight up broke. We can no longer insert the charging cable. We tried the cable out on a cell phone case that uses that charger and it works there without problem - the port itself is broken. The window to return closed last week. VERY disappointing.
