This material is very lightweight, easily manipulated and easily cut to fit. It is like a two sided bubble wrap with reflective coating on one side. There is a material sown on the outside of the material to keep it from delaminating (coming apart or separating). The material cuts very easily with either a utility knife or scissors. I then used duct tape to finish the cut edges to keep them from delaminating. The package comes with plenty (16) of velcro attachments to secure the material to the skylight. End product looks great and kept the inside much cooler .
