It was well packaged and came with a roll of bag material, some bigger sized bags, a replacement seal, and an attachment to seal other containers. You need to hear β€œfour clicks” before it is ready to operate.If you only press it once then both left and right side will click inly once. While that keeps the bag in the position you need to press a little harder to hear another left and right click. Because of a neat safety feature the device does not let the front panel to be operated unless it is in the secure position. I directly contacted the company with a rather frustrated tone, and they very helpful and responsive at explaining what I might have done wrong.Now that I am using it correctly this became my favorite kitchen tool ever. For now I am using it for sealing some leftover meat and cheese (see the pic) after big dinners but I am hoping to get a sous vide machine to be able to precision cook some rib-eyes.It comes with two different size pre-cut bags (I am using the smaller in the picture) and a long roll of bag, which you can cut to whatever size you like. I tried using the roll once just because I was cuyand it is as easy as using the pre-cut bags.I even found a non-intended useful use: Using the auxilary cable I can vacuum the wine bottles using a vacuum cap that I already had. This machine is surprisingly doing betert job than the original pump that came with the vine vacuum apparatus.
