### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small enough to fit in car, big enough for two kids--best out of the three sleds we tried!
*by C***R on February 21, 2016*

I looked for good sleds to bring on our only trip to the snow this year; I wanted to be able to take advantage of "wild snow" along the way in case we saw a good sledding spot, and make sure that our kids + friend could sled at the same time. My search was limited by size (it needed to fit into the hatchback of our smallish car, which meant it had to be less than 40"). We ended up road-testing three different kinds:--Snow Sled Kids Winter Plastic Saucer--Flexible Flyer Steel Saucer--Downhill Sprinter Toboggan Snow Sled By Slippery RacerThe winner? The last one: The toboggan-style sled offered the most control, and while small at 35" long, was still big enough to fit two small 10-year-olds. It is smaller than other toboggans and doesn't look very substantial, but the plastic held up well to lots of use over the course of two solid days of sledding on rugged terrain. Second-best was the Flexible Flyer metal saucer, which was very sturdy and had a curved bottom (similar to other plastic saucers). The Snow Sled Kids Winter Plastic Saucer was our least favorite. It has a flat bottom, so if you're sledding on a gentle slope, it doesn't move and you have to push yourself to the bottom with your feet. We saw other people using more typical curved plastic saucers that handled the same gentle slope well. However, the flat-bottomed saucer did provide welcome friction when going down a steep, icy slope. But the kids preferred the toboggan anyway since they could ride at the same time.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceeded my expectations!
*by A***R on March 5, 2015*

I can't claim to have a great knowledge of sleds, but we were very pleased with this one! In anticipation of a recent Winter Weather Event here in the south, I utilized my Amazon Prime to acquire a real sled. (No more scooting around on mommy's best cookie sheet! We're gonna have the real deal!) In a moment of panic, (what if it doesn't arrive in time?!?!) I also bought a 2nd sled from a gentlemen selling sleds out of his pickup, in the grocery store parking lot. (Not a biggie, I have 2 kids, now I have 2 sleds. Less fighting = win!) While the sled from Amazon was more expensive, it is a far better quality. Our grocery store sled is bendy, flimsy. It is BIGGER, but prone to turning or wiping out when going downhill. The sled from Amazon has nice hand grips on the side, a rope to pull it**, and feels nice and sturdy. I am not a small lady, but I rode down a hill or two with my 6 year old. We squished on there tight, but it was possible.**Some reviews said that the rope arrived broken or cut in half. Our rope arrived as a single, unknotted length. It was inserted through both holes, on the bottom side of the sled. This gives the appearance of a "broken" rope from the top view. All you have to do is take the rope out, turn it around and insert it from the top down. Then tie knots in the ends, at the underside of the sled! It's perfectly fine!

### ⭐ Poor Quality
*by M***N on March 2, 2015*

This toboggan did not last more than a couple hours, and the only person using it was my 11-year-old daughter. One handle broke the first time she got on it, so my husband used wood and duck taped it to fix it. Within 15 minutes, the second handle was broken and the board had at least 3 cracks in it. She only weighs 48 pounds! Terrible quality and it is disappointing that we can not get a refund since we obviously used it. We duck taped the heck out of it and tried to make it work, but it is going straight into the garbage. A waste of $25!
