Technology and progress have always presented an inexhaustible source of inspiration, and it is no different with this Romain Jerome edition, inspired by one of the most important age in the history of manufacturing - the 19th century Industrial Revolution - and the ambitious strive of mankind for progress and modernization. This series features the black, metallic appearance to match the distinct design of the Steampunk collection, but also includes several subtle details in vivid colors, thus pleasingly reviving the design. The massive 50mm round case is made of PVD-coated stainless steel and complemented with satin-finished black PVD-coated stainless steel bezel. It frames the black-colored skeleton dial, which shows central hours and minutes, and propeller shaped small seconds counter at nine o?clock. The all-black design of the watch is subtly embellished with red-colored Roman XII and VI numerals, the Romain Jerome logo at nine o?clock and the hexagonal crown. The black alligator leather strap delightfully matches the overall appearance of the watch featuring red stitching and black PVD-coated stainless steel deployment clasp. This admirable gentlemen?s timepiece works on automatic RJ001-AS caliber, with 42 hours power reserve and 30 meters water resistance. The edition is limited to 99 pieces.
