These were my PT shoes in the Army and I also used when hiking and trail running around Italy and back home in Washington. They are awesome. The most comfortable my shoes have ever been and they were always securely on my foot, never too tight or too loose, literally hugged my foot perfect for all types of trails.My shoes are now in the trash from literally falling apart and the tread is completely gone. The laces are still great except for the plastic tips on ends of laces so I'm buying a new pair for my new HH trail shoes and will probably get new tips for old laces and put them on my GI boots. I had the shoes and laces for 3+ years and literally ran the shoes into the dirt and abused the crap out of them. The laces lasted longer than the shoes. These made it so I could step on the heel of my boot and slip out of them with no hands. I did this several times each day, Much more than I would have if i had been using regular laces. My boots had open sided speed laces on the top and to put the boots back on I would unhook the lace from top speed lace and slid my foot back in. Then stretch these laces back over the top speed lace. I walked 400 miles and they held up well.
