It arrived quickly, was easy to set up and install, and gives me peace of mind knowing that help can get to me in my home if needed in emergency. Having a LifeAlert System because of my Multiple Sclerosis requires me to have a spare key outside my home in case EMTs need to enter. This lockbox was the answer for safely storaging my spare door key. It's a quality build unit that is excellent for the price. I installed it with through the wall 3/8" bolt and stainless steel washers. I did drill the mounting hole in the center to fit the larger 3/8 in. bolt.I feel confident that it is secure enough to with stand any kind of breach. Of course Nothing is 100% secure, but this unit is as best as anything. I would recommend it. ### ⭐ BUYER BEWARE (or you may find yourself up a creek without a key)! *by G***M on Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2019* I followed all instructions in regard to mounting and setting a new code. I tested it three times before mounting and it worked fine when tested, latch released and compartment opened. I mounted it to a deck post (glad I didn't mount it to the brick), put my key inside and closed it. IT WOULDN'T REOPEN! I tried the new code, I tried the original default code and tapped the box a few times thinking the key might be interfering with the mechanism but to no avail. It would not open. I finally gave up and pried it from the post. Imagine my surprise when I found out that the mounting plate was cheap white metal and broke fairly easily. So, on top of being unreliable, it's fairly easy to defeat. When the back plate rips apart the key is easily available to those who may have bad intent.
