I'm a 29-30" waist and the medium is a perfect and comfortable fit. At 5'4 these cuff comfortably at the ankle and leave a bit of gather without bagging excessively, so should be good for folks a little taller as well.Important: NO elastic band in the waist, thankfully, so they truly are comfortable. They have a great weight to them and the drape of the pleating is stunning. Wore them on a day trip here in the south to a peach orchard and farmers market and received several compliments. They're easy to wear casual or dress up with a smidge of effort. I expected them to have that direct-from-China cheapness to them, or to fit really poorly, but they proved me wrong. They have a really pretty drape of the fabric - like shown in the photos, maybe even a little better. The fabric isn't very thick but it's definitely super soft and comfortable. It's also VERY stretchy and can definitely accommodate any size, as described. For reference, I'm 5'2" and about 115 lbs., so I was expecting these to be HUGE on me. Not so! They fit perfectly, and I can even roll down the top band for a lower cut. I can bet they'd be perfectly comfortable on someone much curvier, too. The stretch is pretty huge, but it's the kind that's gentle and won't squeeze your guts out. I wouldn't recommend them for someone who is very tall, though. The leg length is perfect on me, but I'm on the short side. Overall, very pleased with my purchase!EDIT: I would like to add that I ordered both the Cream and Khaki colors. The Cream arrived as expected, however, the Khaki color was clearly the brown pant, even though the warehouse label said "Khaki". I ordered the Khaki color a second time to see if the same error occurred, and it did. These are great. I bought them as an alternative to wearing my gym leggings all the time as to not wear them out just lounging around the house, and they do not disappoint. I am 5'6" and 160lbs, and they fit comfortably. A little loose on the waist but by no means too big, and ideally I'd like them to be another inch longer, but I still already have two more added to my cart already. THESE. ARE. SO. COMFY. And somehow still very flattering.
