Seemed like a good idea but not sure I used them the best way. They are difficult to get through eyelets in shoes ( I could have used needle nose pliers but had none with me). Once installed they proved difficult to remove. I think I made them too right and the shoes were now difficult to put on... which was not the purpose. So learn from my mistakes.
