I would use a sump pump **Q: What is the purpose of the exhaust screw?** A: it is to bleed the air off if necessary **Q: Where do I find Installation instructions?** A: Mine came with a 12 page instruction. It is pretty vague because you could use this pump several different ways. I have not installed mine yet, but plan to use it as a hot water recycling system. You tube has some videos and info or you could request a set of instructions from the Company. **Q: has anyone used the "automatic" mode, is it working good in "automatic"?** A: This pump has no automatic mode. Plug it in & it runs, I connected mine to a lil timer from Walmart and a thermostat to cycle on at 85* and off at 90* (Strapped probe to hot water pipe as it comes into cabinet). One review said pump crazy hot if run for an hour!
