I am a kinesiologist, and have used light therapy for more than a quarter of a century. In most cases, even these cheap lights will work quite well. Not this one! Timer is not working properly. as it sometimes works for 6 minutes before it shuts off, sometimes 9 minutes, and once it did not shut off after 20 minutes. But, the light itself offers no benefit at all. It was so useless, that I compared it to my MedX Physio Console, Pro light, (To be fair, that is a $4400 CDN System) at its lowest setting for superficial treatments and even a cheap flashlight style unit from AAH Lights which cost me about $70 USD, and used it on its lowest setting. There was no noted benefit from this unit at all, even on trigger points. None! I have been a light therapist for 18yrs and had other light devices, these are excellent for home or practice, there was one issue with pad initially, RADLITES quickly took care of me and sent new pad. I have already recommended the triple light pad to many people I know. They are top quality infrared light pads, and highly rate them!
