This worked perfectly due to its small diameter. Very sensitive and takes no effort to cause it to measure air flow. Compared very favorably to my numerous wind gauges. I would recommend this product to anyone needing to measure the wind or airflow. Great for flying kites with the grandkids and other activities when you need to measure the wind. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as intended! *by W***. on December 21, 2018* Unit comes in a nice little box with a photo on the front to represent what's inside. Grab a 9 volt square battery load it into the unit and flip it on. Menu was a little hard to navigate but once you figure it out it's not that bad. Took it out and tested and it takes very little wind to get this thing spinning up. Found it to be a little loud when spinning so dont take it hunting with you to find out the wind direction but for kiting and other things it's an awesome little machine with a great price point! ### ⭐ this is not a dependable meter *by J***Z on July 8, 2020* it worked ok for about 2 weeks. then the meter was measuring but the reading would suddenly drop to 0.right on the 31th day after I received it, it completely stopped working. I had to insist to a supervisor to give me a refund.
