Is the clay brittle when hard?** A: I had 1-3 graders make beads out of it. The clay is not brittle at all , even on the thinner sections. Not sure if you could use it in a mold though **Q: Is this Water Based Terracotta?** A: No it's air dry, but u can use little water to make it mixed better and smooth around edges etc **Q: Is this clay similar to model magic - is it light, not sticky, and dries rather quickly (in a day or so)?** A: Never used model magic or what 'light' means; BUT: > I would say it may be closer to sculpey - dries smoother than others I've used; sands easy / smoother. > Drying kinda' depends on how thick you build it - I've had pieces dry in less than a day; some take longer. > It can be 'sticky' if you get it to wet in smoothing - at first working (when you kneed / temper it) you can put it between paper towels to reduce it.
