The reason why I noticed this is because when it was manufactured it was not pushed in all the way when they glued or pressure molded the silicone part into the hard plastic type handle. There is a little less that 1/8" gap and this gap will trap foods and bacteria. This brush is purchased by most specifically because we are a bit more picky about cleanliness, hence the curved handle for setting down on countertops and so I would expect this to be tight and solid when it comes to gaps. I know that most of these will not have this issue however mine does and because I opted to buy this one as opposed to the much cheaper one piece units I am pretty disappointed. Its not worth the hassle of sending back so I just have to eat it...Pros:Handle is curved and this makes basting easier and it keeps the bristles off the counter when set down so it is more hygienic which is the main reason I purchased this. The bristles appear to be thinner and yet good quality. Because there are twice as many to three times as many bristles as other silicone basters I feel that this is a better design and give this a solid 5 stars in design. The bristles are firm enough to stay erect but not so firm so that it does not brush well. These brush extremely well. Lastly I like the length of the handle, not too short, not too long and not too heavy and not too light. Lastly I like the name... being an 80's product I love the name REO ;)I am putting this review up to see if the manufacturer or seller will be better on their quality control with regards to reviews and will perhaps reach out to make this right... we shall see. and if so I will update at a later date. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice quality *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2019* Long and easy to hold angled handle.
