I was however worried that he’d be cold at night in his bed.I got this heating pad thinking that my fur baby would be delighted with it, but sadly his initial response was not great. I’m not sure if was because it wasn’t soft and sounds a bit scratchy under foot so he has stayed away from it up until today over 2 weeks later! I had to put it at the end of the sofa and cover him with my blanket so he felt safe and guess what!! He hasn’t moved off it all night so that’s a result.The pad is great and has a really thick ( stainless steel coating) chew proof and longish cord if your worried about your animal having a go at it.My dog is a small Yorkie so size wise it’s perfect. Sadly my cat didn't understand what it was so ignored it. Thought I'd made a mistake buying it but then tried putting treats on the pad to entice him to at least sit on it. Thankfully the treats worked and now I've lost my cat and have to remind him I'm here for cuddles if he wants them!Pros: It works really well my cat is so content and cosy.
