They have increase in price since the first time I purchased but it seems as though everything has increased in price these days. These add a little burst of flavor to crostini or onto bruschetta appetizers.

Not sure what it is about these pearls but I absolutely love them as an alternative to actual fish egg caviar. As a topping for a toasted blini with Crème fraîche, it is a fabulous appetizer (pair with Prosecco). Using the leftover liquid for a demi-glaze.
