Now when I put my airpod in my pocket and forget where I placed my charger, I can drop them into this nicely built charger.I am always very leary of using NON Apple items with my apple products because of all the issues it may cause, but these haven't had a problem yet. As a matter of fact, they seem to charge a little faster than my AirPod container itself.The charging cable is about as durable as an Apple Certified cable. It tucks nicely up under neath where there is a little room for some of the cord. The base of this unit is a white silca type material which doesn't slide on my desk. The base has a cut out for the cord which is actually one of the best I have seen. It has a small slit then opens to a round opening where the cords can sit without being squeezed.The LED is Orange when charging and then changes to green when they are charged.The AirPods fit nice and snug into the unit and don't slide around and it doesn't take any excessive force to get them out.For the price, I would recommend them to friends and family as an additional unit to sit on the desk.
