The only problem I had was that the doors in my house wre installed in 1991, and the mouting holes must have been using imperial measurements, as the mouting holes were offset by 5mm from that of any door handle I could find. This is not a criticism of hte door handes which were perfect for what we wanted, but I mentioned it to highlight to potential buyers to be careful to measure the mouting holes on their existing doors before purchase, (though in my case it made no difference, as I could not buy one that would fit anyway). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent *by X***N on 6 November 2017* Excellent replacement - much better than the handles on the original handles of a composite door that cost over £1000!You will need a Phillips screwdriver to remove the old one and put the new one on. You might need a hacksaw to cut the spindle to fit. If you have a thumb turn you will need the correct size Allen key to get them off. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value for money *by M***W on 17 June 2019* straight replacement and absolutely no issues with it. Although, the only thing wrong with my old handles was the spring insert. I have subsequently found that you can replace those inserts.
