The first 3-4 Epochs teach the players the game and basic strategies, at which point the game really opens up with events and hurdles to overcome. It is possible for the group to play this friendly and make sure everyone is keeping up, should someone lag behind. The last Epoch was satisfying in it's conclusion. Highly recommend this game to anyone interested in legacy games.
Review: Lots of fun - If you like complicated legacy boardgames, then this is a must play. I would definitely recommend it if you enjoyed pandemic legacy or gloomhaven (although this is competitive, not co-op).

Great legacy game, better than the ones before it. Best with 4 players who are committed to the campaign. The first 3-4 Epochs teach the players the game and basic strategies, at which point the game really opens up with events and hurdles to overcome.
