The bulbs available at the big box stores were too bulky to fit with an old house decor. These seemed to be most like the incandescent bulbs we were using in our fixture.On arrival, I changed out the four bulbs in one chandelier that we use the most (at least 10 hours per day) and found the light pleasing. The brightness was at least equal to the 60 W bulbs they replaced. The light color seems to be the same as the incandescent bulbs. With 6 W replacing 60 W, we save approximately 208 Watts per hour of operation. Not sure at this price that's a great payback, but its in line with the other LED's I've used.The bulbs appear the same as the incandescent bulbs when lit. When off, the bulbs have the look of the incandescent, but with orange elements that are thicker than the typical tungsten element in an Edison bulb. Unless you stare right at them when off, you can't really tell any difference.The bulb build quality was good and they all worked on receipt. I had one bulb fail after about a week (approximately 40 hours operation). No other failures have been experienced since then, with a total now of 4 weeks (about 120 hours) in operation.I do not use a dimmer on this circuit, so I cannot comment on the bulbs compatibility with dimmers.I do recommend these bulbs. They are a little expensive, but worth the money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally my chandler looks right! *by A***M on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on August 2, 2016* Okay, I replaced my older bulbs in the chandler that where also LED and this looks way better. And with my Evolve Z-Wave dimmer it worked great, in fact they are an awesome pair. The bulbs did not work well with my GE Z-Wave dimmer too well, it would flicker every now and then. I bought 18 bulbs for 2 chandlers and one worked like a charm, and the other had this flicker issue. Changed out the GE dimmer, same problem, swapped out the dimmer for one by Evolve and it worked perfect. You can dimmer them down to just a glow, and they look really neat, and in this mode they are a great night light. I wish I had more places to install them in just so I can see the bulbs glowing. In the attached photos you will see the old LED bulbs and the new filament bulbs. I saw these in the UK long before they came to the US and I am so glad to see they are here now! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great look, but has a dimming issue. *by J***O on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on February 19, 2016* This bulb looks great compared to an incandescent of the same shape and wattage. I removed one star from the product because it will not dim with a standard dimmer. I read some reviews so I purchased a single bulb for testing. This bulb will dim if there is at least one incandescent in the same circuit. If you're using all LED, then you need a special dimmer.When the bulb does dim, it looks great at any light level.Once we get the dimmers we need, I'll be purchasing more of these bulbs.
