I only put a small enough on to help the hair lay down.It only looks wet for a few hours if you put a lot on. **Q: how would this compare to the boost cream?** A: much better **Q: Does this dry and harden? Im looking for a product that is easy to apply with a light hold and little to no shine. BUT no hardness like gel.** A: From my experience, it does not dry and harden like gel. If you use enough of the product, I hesitate to use the expression, but... it will stiffen up a tiny bit. However, just running your fingers through your hair will loosen everything up.
