## Description

Just like the real thing, only smaller; the new John Deere R4023 Sprayer really sprays water! This 1:16 toy features boom arms that span 45” across when opened. Featuring lights and sounds, this John Deere sprayer is sure to be a hit with fans of nearly every age!

Review: Realistic - Bought this for our not-quite-2-year-old grandson who is obsessed with farm equipment. He's a little too young for it (which we expected), so we have zip-tied the booms closed for now so he doesn't break them off. The sprayer is made of heavy plastic, so is sturdy, but not as sturdy as die-cast metal. The detail on this sprayer is great - Grandpa and Dad had as much fun checking it out as grandson. When fully extended, the booms are about four-feet wide. The tank holds water so the sprayer can really work, but we haven't tried it yet - waiting for warmer weather so we can take it outside. The top of the cab is removable, revealing quite a bit of detail in the cab, including seat, side console, steering wheel, levers, buttons, and a computer monitor. Buttons on top of the cab make sounds - engine starting and a back-up beep - and flash lights. Steps also fold up and the boom raises and lowers (all manually). If your intended recipient is rough with toys, this might not be for him/her. My grandson loves it, and as long as we monitor his play with it until he's older, this is going to be a fun and educational toy for our little farmer.

**Q: Is this toy made out of metal?**
A: yes it is made out of metal

**Q: How do you put batteries in ?**
A: I think they are under the cab roof. It’s been a while.

**Q: Is the price too high? Tractor Supply has this for $50.**
A: No!! We thought it was well worth the money. If the Kids are young you do have to watch so they don't push on the wing spans,

**Q: How do you get it to spray water?  pumped and pumped but cannot get water**
A: My son just received this as a birthday gift. It didn't work. After some troubleshooting, the lever that opens and closes the valve to release the water is broken. The valve post turns really hard, and I think that is breaking the plastic lever. (It split the rounded portion of the lever that mates to the valve post.) If I take the lever off and turn the valve with pliers, everything works. I haven't found anyone selling replacement levers yet. I tried gluing it back together, but it broke again. Time to see if I can make a new lever out of something stronger.........
