Even though the description said it would fit the Samsung Galaxy S5, it would have saved me a lot of time if it had been stated that it only fits "naked" phones ... ones with no cases on them!Oops! Before I get myself in trouble, perhaps I should mention the type of case I use on my phone. It's a CASEFORMERS Duo Armor BLACK with Stand and Holster (an awesome case by the way, and it fits my model phone exclusively ... Samsung Galaxy S5 Active). So, in the event you use a thinner case on your S5 Active ... it could be one upon which the tripod mount could POSSIBLY fit.
