## Description

SRT Powered is a new system designed to recreate the body resonance of an acoustic guitar in a bodyless guitar. Yamaha developed SRT Powered, in collaboration with recording artists to create a system tailored to the unique properties of the new SLG body and modeled on the tones of a high-end Yamaha acoustic guitar captured using a carefully selected microphone in a professional recording studio environment. By truly reproducing the sound of an acoustic guitar, right down to its natural sustain and decay, Yamaha allows guitarists to experience the true body resonance, body sound and ambience of an acoustic guitar. The SRT Powered sound can even be mixed with the sound of the instrument's piezoelectric pickups, allowing guitarists to be even more flexible in their creative endeavors. Because the SLG can practically reproduce the sound of a guitar recorded with a microphone, players are free from the complicated procedures involved in picking up a guitar when recording at home or in other settings.

**Q: Does it comes with the gigbag ?**
A: Yes. It's a special compact bag for that guitar. The upper part of the guitar are detachable, so in the bag this part and the guitar are stored separately. As the result the bag is more compact comparing with the regular bag for a classical guitar. The quality of the bag is Ok - it is made from hard nylon, but it's thinner than the regular bag, so I guess it's not very protective. Works ok for me to store the guitar at home.

**Q: Does this one include the gig bag?**
A: Yes, this includes the gig bag

**Q: Is there a hard case that can be purchased separately?**
A: Actually you dont need a hard case for this guitar there is no need for one . The case that comes with it is very sturdy for a soft case, and this guitar isnt as fragile as a normal guitar would be the way it comes apart and fits in the guitar case keeps it from getting damaged .

**Q: On the NW (classical), can you tell me if the bridge saddle is perfectly 90 degrees to the fretboard/parallel with the nut? Or is it slightly angled?**
A: It’s 100% parallel to the nut on mine but I never noticed any intonation issues.   My other classical guitars have very slight (and unadjustable) angles, so the manufacturer is just guessing about the difference in gauge between strings anyway.
