They fit him expected. I bought the sizes I normally get for them in pants (12 and 8), and they fit nicely with room to grow in the length, as you can see in the picture. They are very soft, breathable, and comfy. The fabric is light, but it feels sturdy. The thermals are probably too form-fitting for a 12-year-old boy to want to wear on their own, but they will work great for providing extra warmth under ski clothes.The first pair I ordered actually came with a hole in the thigh, where a seam hadn't been fully sewn. The company was quick to respond and send a new pair within a few days. I am ready for Christmas! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Soft, lightweight, and comfortable *by J***. on October 1, 2018* I bought the (2-piece) PJs for my son - he's worn them a few times and finds them comfortable and cozy. They're lightweight and breathable, so they're great for fall/winter in a mild climate, where short sleeves wouldn't be warm enough but thicker long-sleeve PJs (particularly synthetics like polar fleece) are overkill. I think they'd work great as a base layer for winter, too, although living in Texas we haven't had use for multiple layers of clothing (and probably never will). Oh, and pairing the black ones with a ski mask (not included) works great as a Saturday-morning, wear-around-the-house outfit for ninjas in training.Overall they seem to be very good quality and I'd recommend them. Keep in mind that it's a natural fabric so they tend to stretch out after wearing them.
