I have a Sprite shower filter so that pushes the shower head "down" at least 3 inches. It was OK and usable but always felt the shower spray a bit too low for me. This extender is not bulky and felt well-constructed. Attractive and sturdy. Easy to install - note you'll need your own thread tape. I'll test it tomorrow but it's not leaking and I have adjusted bicycles and know that it's all a matter of inches and millimeters, and this shower extender seems to be providing a good solution by raising the shower head enough. I don't want to ask the landlord to install another shower pipe!
