Shunt is in a particularly difficult position in my installation so I pre programmed everything before installing it physically. It all networked easily with the other Victron components and immediately after switching on, the new charger was using information from the BMV-712 in its charging profile. Excellent piece of kit, I do however recommend using the app from Victron as it is much easier than scrolling through the menu on the little screen. Would definitely recommend this. It was in a victron box but WAS NOT A VICTRON. The version sent was grey and orange, was surface mounted via a bracket and did not have the flush fitting bezel. I returned this immediately. I’m assuming as this is Bluetooth thuds device is not** A: Hi, The BMV-712 allows you to monitor the state of the batteries. This item is bluetooth enabled which allows you to view the data on your mobile or tablet. **Q: Is this product suitable for monitoring a leisure battery bank of 5 battries with a total cappacity of 600 ah?** A: Yes the BMV-712 would be perfect for this application **Q: I have two 12V batteries connected in parallel.
