Review: Great bike - We got this one for our granddaughter's fifth birthday and it was a hit. It was super easy to assemble and the design and sturdiness of the bike was excellent. Schwinn has always been a good name for bikes so I felt this was a good choice for her first two wheeler. She had an easy time riding and loved it. In fact, it was such a hit that we bought a second one for her sister who will be turning 3 this month. She's tall for her age and loved riding her sister's bike. She chose a different color and is really happy with it. Only downside is the lack of a kick stand which we will need once the training wheels come off. It would be nice to have a matching stand rather than the chrome color that can be purchased separately. The basket is also a bit flimsy and could break after several falls once the training wheels come off and the bike hits the ground. These are all minor inconveniences as the overall quality of the bike seems really good. It's only our first month so we'll have to see how the two bikes hold up after this summer.

The assembly was very minimal and it took 25 - 30 mins to assemble the entire bike with minimal tools. The IKEA toolbox is sufficient to assemble the entire thing. Compared to other bikes it's very comfortable for her to ride. The teal color looks absolutely beautiful. Now about the customer service, while assembling I noticed the back reflector was broken, never bothered to return just for a reflector bought couple of them from desertcart which doesn't fit (the diameter size was matching), the diameter was either too small or little big and not fitting. After returning both finally called Schwinn support mentioned in product support from desertcart order details. The call took a while to connect but once I was able to talk to then and mentioned the model number they sent the reflectors within next 3 days. So I believe they'll support and stand behind their product. Like the fact that it comes with a side stand and both the hand brakes. It is priced on little higher side but it is sturdily built, stable, assembly is very easy, very comfortable to ride and looks absolutely amazing. My daughter absolutely loves it to ride and we are happy with our purchase.

**Q: Where can you buy an extra tire and wheel frame?**
A: We bought a new tire at our local bike shop. The rear tire on ours had a hole in it when we received it.

**Q: How much assembly is required?**
A: I purchased the 20" wheel version. That required bolting on the pedals to the cranks, in stalling the front wheel, installing and aligning the handlebars, and installing the basket. I am not sure about the other sized bikes.

**Q: 6 yo boy, 43 in tall, 19 in inseam - is the 18 in bike ok or still too big?**
A: Hello! The 18 inch is recommended for riders, 40" - 52".

**Q: Is the 18 inch bike too large for a boy turning 4?  He's 90% for height.**
A: The 18" bike is recommended for riders 5-9 with a height of 42"-52".  The stand over height for the 18" is about 20".  Thanks, Jen

We got this one for our granddaughter's fifth birthday and it was a hit. It was super easy to assemble and the design and sturdiness of the bike was excellent. Schwinn has always been a good name for bikes so I felt this was a good choice for her first two wheeler. She had an easy time riding and loved it. In fact, it was such a hit that we bought a second one for her sister who will be turning 3 this month. She's tall for her age and loved riding her sister's bike. She chose a different color and is really happy with it. Only downside is the lack of a kick stand which we will need once the training wheels come off. It would be nice to have a matching stand rather than the chrome color that can be purchased separately. This Schwinn kids' bike is excellent! The SmartStart Ergonomic Design and the adjustable seat are its best features, making it easy for my grand daughter to ride and ensuring it will last as they grow.
