Review: Zomei Q666 review. - Bought the Q666 because I already have the larger version and love it the Z818 peofessional. Its been all over the world but when it comes to winter and table top stuff it is too large for the table. The best choice was the Q666. The twist clips don't have metal pole inserts to tighten up like the Z818 and also the ball head is slightly smaller and the camera bracket is made of high impact plastic unlike the Z818 which is all cast metal. But other than that it is the same quality across the rest of the tripod. It has 4 leg sections nit 3 like the Z818 and reaches the same height pretty much. But it also folds down to about a foot. It has all the abilities and quality of an expensive tripod and is very light considering the metal content. I would happily buy another and another after that. The leg position clips below the ball head are solid stops and hold a good deal of weight. Canon dslr, canon l 100 to 400 and my bag off the hook. No issues. It does not have spikes and rubber feet unlike the z818. Hope this helps.
