Colors are fairly rich but not overpowering and the watercolor pattern isn't too crazy. Although the spaces for each day are quite a bit smaller than my previous calendar, I was happy to have all of the months along the bottom for reference. The top portion holding the pages together with the rings for hanging seems fairly sturdy (although I lay mine flat), the plastic corners at the bottom are very flimsy as people have said. I was a little confused as, upon arrival, mine appeared to have separate front and back portions because they had both split (although not entirely). Certainly not what you want, but taped it up a bit and it's fine, they'll work. The Calendar arrived when promised and was packed very well for shipping. It’s really pretty, and I love the extra detail of the pictures on the holidays and special days. A suggestion? Make the plastic corners a little stronger. Maybe the individual day squares could be a little bigger?
