I have worn it during frigid winters in Missouri, Ohio, Germany and Denmark. While in Denmark this past February, it was so cold that it snowed and large chunks of ice had formed in the water canals. However, I wore this coat while on a boat tour (during which I was the only person able to withstand sitting on the open air deck) as well as during a city walking tour. Needless to say, I was dry, warm and toasty while everyone else was frozen! I cannot say this enough, this coat is AWESOME!Pros - long length, warm, thick, heavy, waterproofCons - none ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ better than quitting my job *by N***. on October 20, 2017* My job at school has changed to include recess with the kids, about two hours often in the rain. One day it was cold and wet and I came home sick and crying, thinking maybe I should just quit. I bought this coat and it has saved the job. It keeps me warm and dry. I can even sit down on a bench without getting my pants wet. I didn't need an umbrella with the hood fitting so well. The only problem is the zipper is hard to work. In a hurry I can use the snaps instead. I have rubbed soap on the zippers and they work much better, I imagine I'll have to do that from time to time. I bought a medium; I am 5'4" and weigh 131 lb. Today I wore a sweatshirt under the coat and it fit fine . The coat covers more than half of my shin. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Runs a bit small - fantastic coat for the price! *by M***F on January 2, 2018* It's been bitterly cold, and my thighs and legs have gotten the worst of it, so I broke down and bought this giant long puffer coat. I'm a size 12/14 and wear a M/L, but based on one reviewer saying it was a big small on her 36DD bust, I got an XL. It was the right move. The XL fits me perfectly with a bit of room for a sweater on as well. It's not something to wear in the arctic, which is great because I want to be able to wear it without overheating in 10 seconds. Wore it for a walk in 14 degree weather, and it was great, though the cold can still get up through the bottom.
