I was able to definitively diagnose the bad amplifier by plugging ear buds into the rear stereo output (which doesn't use the amp) and hear music. This thing was a complete pain to uninstall/install (if you have big hands plan on tearing the heck out of them) but obviously that isn't a problem with the product or the seller but the vehicle design. After installing this amplifier, everything worked perfectly again. Excellent product!
